Presenting the traditional four triangle design in leather with fur trim and finished off with oriental designed topknots and jewellery.
I have recently started creating tribal Mongol hats from a later period. All hats feature a conical shape with fur trim in a long band (curved or straight cut) on the front of the hat. There are two side pieces of fur cut in a flap shape that are held tied together at the back of the hat. During cold weather these flaps would be tied and serve as earmuffs to keep the wearer warm. Also featured are the Sharbush design with concial frontpiece. These are the Mogul of Mongol hats.
